location of the hotel is very good - away from the hustle and bustle of tourists with beautiful views of the bridge and Pest. Near the castle - very convenient for sightseeing all the sights of the old town. Lived in suite - large terrace with exceptional views of the city. In this hotel you should take only such rooms. view is a good reason to choose this hotel, despite some shortcomings of the hotel itself.
hotel needs to be renovated (it seems to be in the near future). room for the suite is not large at all. decoration and design are very outdated. Everything's a little out of date. toilet and bathroom are spacious, behind the glass doors to the room - it must be taken into account, it is not always comfortable. air conditioning is noisy and useless. Breakfast is a waste of time and money - not tasty and not beautiful. staff at reception and breakfast have not made a good impression - sluggish, without warmth and a special desire to help.

After reading the recent, not particularly good reviews of the hotel shortly before our stay in Budapest, I have to admit that I wanted to cancel the room. Just because I have not found a room with a direct view of the Danube in any other hotel, we ended up here. And we never regretted it - on the contrary! The staff at the reception desk was incredibly friendly, early check-in was no problem at all, the room was super clean and the view of the Danube, Chain Bridge & Co was a dream the years have come, but that didn't bother us. After all, we didn't want to move in here, we wanted to spend a weekend. I can't say anything about breakfast, we took it in a small cafe in the neighborhood. We will be happy to book here again if necessary.
Apart from the mattress, which was too hard for my back, we thought everything was great.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with electricity plugs for our American devices. The hotel facilities were modern and stylish, and the bar was a great place to unwind and enjoy the evening. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the Danube and Buda castle from our balcony. We were also very close to the funicular that takes you up to the castle and just steps away from the bridge. Transportation was convenient with tram tickets provided by the helpful receptionist. a great experience.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Lanchid 19 is not located in the main shopping district of Budapest. In fact, it is located across the river from Vaci Utca, Budapest's main tourist shopping district. It is however, a chic modern hotel with modern ammenities, helpful staff, clean and rather convenient if you're driving in. Off street parking is available and whilst it costs on weekdays, it's free on weekends and public holidays. The modern rooms are reasonably sized, at least for a historic city hotel. WiFi is free inhouse. There's even a 13/14th century archaelogical site on site (in the lower level). Public transportation - the bus, tram and metro - is either right outside or within a short walking distance. Rooms with river views are manificent. The hotel is situation right under the Royal Palace, a fenicular takes you up to the Palace for sightseeing. Danube river cruises run regularly across the other side of the Danube river from the hotel, which is right in front of the river.
Need some power points at the work desk. Location of in-room safe on the ground, is a bit too low for my like and can be uncomfortable to read safe's instructions, opening or closing the device.

The hotel was clean, modern, and spacious with a good minibar and TV. The breakfast and restaurant food were very good. The room design was nice, freshly renovated. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation, nice restaurants, and Rudas Baths nearby. The hotel also offered lovely views of the Danube and Pest side of the city.
Was all great.

Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in providing directions to get to places of interest. The hotel is not too big but nice and its art deco makes it very pleasant.
My only observation is that the shower at the bathroom does not have something to prevent the water from running through the entire bathroom floor while taking a shower. That makes the floor slippery. As I was travelling with my mother, elderly people face problems of insecurity after taking a shower and having to move with a slippery floor.

Convenient location on the quieter side of the river, with a very pleasant staff. The river view from our room was worth paying a bit extra for. The hotel was warm and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the bed was the comfiest I've slept in while on holiday. The hotel's proximity to the Lanchid Bridge and the availability of bus and tram stops just across the road made it extremely convenient for exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at one of Lanchid 19's panorama suites on their uppermost floor - we had the most amazing view over the river Danube and the Chain Bridge! The glass wall of the living room/bedroom and even the bathroom, the bubble bath and the balcony all added to this. Staff was very helpful - they greeted us with a lovely fruit plate!
The pile of snow on the balcony could have been cleaned... (in all fairness though, it was New Year's Eve and they certainly had their hands full)

Very modern and trendy design features. Excellent staff. Our room overlooked the Danube and the Chain Bridge. There is a pleasant 10 minute walk across the Chain Bridge to the city centre.
